Caravans were first used by the gypsies. But now many people prefer mobile homes. It is still not so popular in India, but in the US, People really want to live in these homes. These houses are built in factories instead of a plot. They are then taken out for sale. The buyer can take these, anywhere he or she wants.
Of course when you are traveling with your house, you will get all the facilities that you get from it anywhere you want. For example, you will not have to search for a toilet in the middle of the road; your wife can cook for you while on the move, etc.

But before buying one you should consider these points also. These houses do not keep you as safe as a permanent one would do. Loans are also tough to get as there is no land in case of a mobile home. Natural calamities cause more damage to these homes than what they would do to permanent ones.
So if you want to buy these kinds of homes, it is advisable that you see to every pros and cons before you buy one. Otherwise, who knows, you may end up homeless in a few years after purchasing one.
