Until a few days ago, if you had asked me to tell you about Sierra Leone, I would have had to think long and hard to tell you much about this West African country. I could probably have explained roughly where the country is located. I may have mentioned something about the slave trade being connected to Sierra Leone. I could certainly have told you that they had experienced a brutal civil war. I might even have admitted that I wasn't entirely sure whether the war was 100% over. And that's about it.
Slavery and war. A pretty negative view of what is in fact an exceptionally positive country. Today, I see Sierra Leone from an entirely different perspective.
It is difficult to ignore Sierra Leone's history and focus purely on the present. Once a fertile area inhabited by dozens of tribes, it was settled by the Portuguese in the 1400's who built a fort as a trading post for gold, spices, ivory and slaves. A British protectorate in later years, Sierra Leone had the dubious honor of becoming home to more than 40,000 freed slaves who gave Freetown its name. As a protectorate, Sierra Leone was exploited for its mineral and diamond wealth in the 1900's and Sierra Leonean's fought against the Germans in Cameroon in the First World War, and alongside the British in the Second World War. In 1961, Sierra Leone achieved independence from Britain and governed itself peacefully for 30 years. The peace was not to last and was followed by a decade of brutal civil war that destroyed the economy, brutalized the people and left a country that is rich in resources as one of the poorest in the world.

Amazing place of this universe

Wonderful experience
A wonderful trip can be a wonderful experience as well as a sweet memory too, but there is a condition that you take care of yourself during your trip. I have visited lots of places of India and according to me Kerala is the best place of India to visit.

Memorable tours
I am going to visit Sikkim in this summer and I am very much excited about that tour. I hope that is going to be one of my memorable tours. By the way, if any body still didn't try cruise vacation then don't waste your time and book your trip from carnival cruise lines for any wonderful place. In my point of view Spending vacation in a luxury ship is simply something you can't forget in your lifetime.

Nowhere else on earth
I heard about this place but I never visit the place. Each year during summer vacation I go out for travel with my family. I have visited lots of places. Last year we went for fabulous cruise vacation in the blue waters of the Mediterranean. There is nowhere else on earth where you can sample as many flavors, cultures and historic sites as you can on a Mediterranean cruise vacations. So without wasting your time experience the amazing scenery and rich cultures during your holiday on the Sea.

It's really pathetic to know
It's really pathetic to know that after ruling Sierra Leone peacefully for thirty years, a brutal civil war destroyed this West African country at last. I personally love to read history of different countries and also love to travel around various historical places along with other places those posses’ natural beauties as well. Last year I went in Burlington for the purpose of my business; and I had made a short trip alongside Lake Champlain. I enjoyed those days not only observing the beautiful scenario of nature, but also relaxing in one of the luxurious Hotels in Burlington vt.

Trip to historical places
Your post seems to me quite informative. The history of the West African country, Sierra Leone was an uninformed reality to me, too. But, after reading your post, I have searched out not the sufficient but some important notes on this fact. Whenever I got spare times, I use to make a trip to some historical places which are of well known or not. Last year, during the Christmas holidays, I went India to visit the Tajmahal. During that excursion, I was staying in one of the sophisticated hotels in Delhi with my family. This trip had gifted me lots of beautiful memories.

Proper location to stay
Whenever I get time always I go out for travel to explore the beauty of the nature. In my point of view if you want to enjoy the real feel of nature, you have to choose the proper location to stay. I have visited many countries all over the world but the eilat hotels is one of the best hotels that I have ever seen and stayed. Really it was an amazing feeling staying there.

I never ever visited that
I never ever visited that part of the earth. Your post attracted me a lot and I’m thinking to make a trip to Sierra Leone. But I’m a bit choosy about accommodation. So, I’m searching the web to find out a quality accommodation there. Few years back, I visited LA and stayed at French Quarter hotels. Those hotels made me satisfied with their services and amenities. Think that my search will help me to find out hotels with same facilities.

Exotic foreign locations
I enjoy traveling like most people do, however I enjoy going to exotic foreign locations. Hawaii is one such location I recently visited along with my friend’s .This place is full of beautiful spots & some great hotels. If you want to spend your vacation time in ultimate serenity, hawaii vacation hotels would be your preferable choice. All in all it is a place worth visiting.

Before going to any place
Before going to any place make sure, there are good hotels around. Most hotels now provide excellent service to its customers. I remember, on my last vacation I stayed at a hotel, where there was an electronic safe in my room; they had the best Wholesale Hotel Supplies and provided excellent service.

It is due to the rapid expansion of the tourism industry, now we are getting to learn about different places. But if you really have an interest in knowing about different places, then you could try blogs. You would get to know about such offbeat places that you would be amazed. When I wanted information about Munich vacation rentals I went online.

It feels great to explore
It feels great to explore places that are hardly known. They have a pristine feel about them. On the other hand if you visit a popular tourist spot, you just know which spots to visit; if you could get a hotel that is near prime tourist attractions, your job becomes easier. When I visited Anaheim, I stayed at the best Anaheim hotels; they were conveniently located.
